The BlackStar Film Festival is an annual celebration of the visual and storytelling traditions of the African diaspora and of global indigenous communities, showcasing films by black people from around the world. This sweater/t-shirt is a collaboration between Black Star Film Festival, the Philadelphia Printworks' School of Thought collection, and their shared values. PPW and Maori Carmichael decided that Paul Roberson should be highlighted to represent his unrelenting and tenacious spirit during his fight for justice. His excellence in the fields of athleticism and activism continue to motivate athletes and entertainers to speak on behalf of oppressed and marginalized people around the world.
